It was my mom who said that to me a while back, probably because I was showing her abstract photos I had taken of tree trunks, rocks and various other things I found interesting. Our opinions on art were always at opposite ends of the spectrum.
Since she has passed I catch myself often wondering, “What would she think of this photo project?” or, “What would she think of a certain photo?”
I know this one would fall into the “weird” category but I am ok with that. It is strange but I like the color contrast and I like how when you zoom in on something it becomes more interesting. Space between you and the world around you can change everything.
