I sometimes yearn for snow, I love the way it looks on the trees and brightens all your surroundings. (I tend not to think about shoveling snow or how crazy the morning commute can get when we have even a sniff of snow.) We tend to have dark dreary days with perpetual rain – no brightening happening here.
Today I noticed something different though, when I looked up at the trees I saw an abstract painting. All the branches growing in towards each other, all the trees becoming entwined, it was brilliant!
Maybe we do not have snow but sometimes we can see through the rain long enough to see something beautiful.
