I view professional athletes as people who get paid to play sports.  So based on that theory for 2 hours this afternoon I was a professional bowler.  (Aka: My employer paid me to go bowling with my co-workers for 2 hours.)  Not a bad way to spend a rainy Wednesday, especially when you consider the alternative  - working.

I’ll take bowling any day.  While I am sure my co-workers will attest to my lack of bowling skills (even though I did win the first game) it was a great way to spend the afternoon.  I especially enjoyed it as I recently changed jobs and it gave me the opportunity to spend some time with individuals from different departments.
